Ford
Tekst:
Raindrops have been pouring, like rivers from the sky
Water has been falling, from the mountains high
The banks are overflowing, but you’ve got to understand
That’s how Mother Nature does fertilize the land
Every time we pass a ford through the river of our mind
Every time we’ve been told to leave that track behind
But the views are getting better, let the water through the door
If we dare to take our chances, we don’t have to fear no more
Temperature is rising, after a period of drought
Woods are catching fire, a blaze has broken out
Flames are roaring higher but you’ve got to understand
That’s how Mother Nature does fertilize the land
Every time we pass a ford through the river of our mind
Every time we’ve been told to leave that track behind
But the views are getting better, let the water through the door
If we dare to take our chances, we don’t have to fear no more
The ground started shaking, smokey at the top
Underneath the surface, the pressure’s building up
The ground bursts, lava’s flowing, but you’ve got to understand
That’s how Mother Nature does fertilize the land
Every time we pass a ford through the river of our mind
Every time we’ve been told to leave that track behind
But the views are getting better, let the water through the door
If we dare to take our chances, we don’t have to fear no more
